A Co-op store located in Harold Hill was broken into overnight on April 17. Police were alerted shortly before midnight regarding the incident. Investigating officers discovered damage to the shop's front shutter and confirmed that items had been stolen from within the store. Following the incident, two suspects fled the scene, and an investigation is currently underway by the Metropolitan Police. Although a crime scene was established, it has since been closed without any arrests made. Co-op has not yet commented on the matter.
A Co-op store in Harold Hill has been targeted by burglars overnight. Police officers were called to Harold Hill Co-op, in Farnham Road, just before midnight last night.
Once at the scene, officers found that damage had been caused to the shop's front shutter, while items had also been stolen from inside.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that two suspects made off from the location and that enquiries are ongoing to find them.
