Police hunt three men after victim, 32, shot and stabbed in north London crime spree

"Approximately half an hour before the attack, it is believed the alleged gunman had attempted to shoot an 18-year-old man after a foot chase, narrowly missing him. Officers were called to reports a 30-year-old suspect had discharged a firearm at Mr Polson while he was sat in his car, with the shot narrowly missing him. Just seconds later, it is reported another male then approached the vehicle and stabbed the victim through the driver's side door at around 11pm on June 12."

"Mr Polson suffered serious back injuries in the attack and was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition. Mateos Jubani, 30, of The Brightside, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life and two counts of possession of criminal property, namely 1,110 cash and a Rolex watch. His trial is due to begin at Wood Green Crown Court in June 2026."

Terence Polson, 32, was shot at and stabbed on Park Avenue at the junction with Green Lanes in Palmers Green, Enfield at about 11pm on June 12. A 30-year-old suspect allegedly fired at Polson while he sat in his car, narrowly missing, and seconds later another male stabbed him through the driver's side door. About 30 minutes earlier the alleged gunman had attempted to shoot an 18-year-old after a foot chase, also narrowly missing. Polson suffered serious back injuries and was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition. Detectives have identified multiple suspects, are seeking three men, and have charged Mateos Jubani, 30, with attempted murder and firearm offences; his trial is due in June 2026.
