Steve Wright, who is 66 years old, has pleaded not guilty to the kidnapping and murder of 17-year-old Victoria Hall, a case dating back to 1999 when she went missing after a night out. Her body was located five days later in a ditch, approximately 25 miles away from where she was seen last. In an additional charge, he has yet to plead regarding an attempted kidnapping of another woman. He appeared via video link for a hearing at the Old Bailey, where his trial was scheduled for February 2, 2026.
