Man charged with murdering two women and raping another
"Met commander Clair Kelland said: The investigation into Simon Levy is one of great complexity. We are working closely with partners across relevant boroughs, including Haringey and Southwark, to encourage reporting and raise awareness of the support we can provide to victim-survivors. We believe there may be people who are aware of Levy who have not yet made a report to the police. Whether you are a victim-survivor, or someone with information, we urge you to come forward and speak to us."
"The Met said that it had been called on 17 March to reports of an unresponsive woman at a property on the Aylesbury Estate in south London. Police said the cause of Valencia-Trujillo's death could not be determined and that on 1 April, Levy was arrested on suspicion of her murder. He was released under investigation. On 24 August Wilkins's body was found on Tottenham High Road. Levy, also from Tottenham, was arrested for her murder more than a week after her body was found."
Simon Levy, 40, faces a second murder charge over the death of Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo, 53, whose body was found on the Aylesbury Estate in south London in March. He was previously charged with the September murder of Sheryl Wilkins, 39, whose body was found on Tottenham High Road, and with a January rape and grievous bodily harm against another woman in Tottenham. Levy was arrested in April in connection with Valencia-Trujillo's death and released under investigation, then re-arrested on 4 September. The Metropolitan police described the investigation as complex and urged victims or witnesses to come forward.
