"A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Walthamstow. Police were called to an address on Westbury Road just before 9pm on Friday following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found a man with stab wounds to his chest. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers are in the process of informing his next-of-kin."
"Eugeniu Neamtu, 58, of Westbury Road, is due to appear in custody at Thames Magistrates' Court on Monday, charged with murder. Four men two aged in their 20s and two in their 50s were arrested on Friday on suspicion of murder. One has since been charged. The other three were later released no further action. The investigation is being led by homicide detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command, who continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward."
