Man charged with murder after football-loving family man' mowed down by car near London magistrates' court

"Father-of-three Ruben Nunes, 34, from Peterborough, sustained serious injuries in a multi-vehicle collision involving pedestrians yards from Willesden Magistrates' Court. Shakaine Dwyer, 29, of Willesden, was previously charged with causing death by dangerous driving on Sunday, December 7, before later being charged with murder on Monday, December 29. He will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrate's Court on Monday, January 19, 2026."

"A police investigation was launched and a man was arrested in connection with the incident on Thursday, December 4. A second man has also been charged in connection with this investigation. Gregory Ejiofor, 31, of Milton Keynes appeared in custody on Tuesday, December 9, charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He will next appear at Southwark Crown Court on Tuesday, December 6."
