Briefly

On Tuesday, officers responded to reports of a man with a gun near a railway station. Upon arrival, they confronted David Joyce, who was actually wielding a knife. After advancing quickly towards the officers, he was shot at close range by an officer. Joyce, a 38-year-old from Milton Keynes, received first aid but died at the scene from a gunshot wound.
