Gardai investigating murder of schoolboy Kyran Durnin searching property in Drogheda

Gardaí in Drogheda are conducting forensic examinations of a property in connection with the suspected murder of Kyran, who was last seen in June 2022 when he was six years old. Despite significant public support and extensive investigations, law enforcement has not been able to locate Kyran, now 8 years old. Gardaí emphasized the need for accurate information from the public, noting that rampant speculation could hinder progress. They reiterated that any tips—no matter how minor—could be crucial to the investigation and would be kept confidential.

Investigating Gardaí have to date received extensive support from the public. Despite this, they have been unable to locate Kyran.

The search aims to discover evidence about Kyran's current whereabouts or what has happened to him.
