Four men were arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary that took place at a couple's home in Shanganagh Cliffs, Shankill, Dublin. The incident occurred around 7.30pm, during which the assailants assaulted the elderly couple and threatened them with a firearm. After fleeing the scene, Gardaí initiated a search, resulting in the recovery of a semi-automatic firearm and subsequent arrests of the four suspects, ranging in age from 20 to 60. The injured homeowner was taken to St. Vincent's University Hospital, while the investigation is ongoing.
