The Urban Innovation Company won planning permission for hubs at Old Bridge Street, City Road, Newquay Road, Pydar Street, Lemon Quay, Station Road and Treyew Road after five other proposed sites were removed at English Heritage's request. Two councillors sought committee consideration over impacts on the Truro Conservation Area. A Belfast pilot exists and more than 85 installations are planned elsewhere, funded by advertising revenue.
