"Emergency services were called to Pound Lane in Willesden at about 16:00 GMT on Saturday where they found the injured woman. Paramedics tried to save her but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Met said officers arrested a 30-year-old man on the same day and that they believed he was known to the woman. He remains in custody."

A 50-year-old woman was stabbed to death on Pound Lane in Willesden at about 16:00 GMT on Saturday. Emergency services and paramedics attended and were unable to save her; she was pronounced dead at the scene. A 30-year-old man believed to be known to the woman was arrested the same day and remains in custody.
