Tesla says it has launched ride-hailing Robotaxi teaser to employees only
Briefly

Tesla has introduced an early version of its Robotaxi fleet in Austin and the San Francisco Bay Area, exclusively for employees. Utilizing the company's Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system, the fleet has successfully completed over 1,500 trips covering 15,000 miles. This pilot program is instrumental in developing FSD networks and refining a mobile app designed for ride requests, vehicle allocation, and other functions. While the current operation includes a human driver monitoring the vehicle, future plans aim for a completely unsupervised service by June 2025.
