A 29-year-old woman has died after being hit by a tow truck driver in Toronto on Tuesday morning, police say.The collision happened in the area of Mount Pleasant Road and Bloor Street East at about 7:30 a.m.The woman died at the scene.The driver remained at the intersection, police have said.Sgt.Melissa Kulik, spokesperson for the Toronto Police Services's traffic services unit, said the tow truck was travelling on a ramp from Bloor Street East down to Mount Pleasant Road as the woman was crossing from the north side to the south side of the street.
