Metalworks HVAC Superstores in Vaughan, Ontario, has experienced its third break-in, with thieves demonstrating inside knowledge of the store's layout. The most recent incident, occurring on January 23, saw burglars using a sledgehammer to breach the security despite the installation of bollards meant to improve safety. The police suspect that an organized crime ring is operating, as the break-ins occur around the same time each month, with stolen goods likely being resold through a network.
...the suspects captured on video seemed to know the store's layout and were in and out within a few minutes.
As soon as they get that, maybe they are directed [by someone] whose specialized role is re-selling these goods.
