Warner Bros. Discovery owns Food Network after acquisitions between 2018 and 2022 and announced in June 2025 a corporate split into Streaming & Studios and Global Networks. Network executives are reorganizing channel lineups, prompting the cancellation of The Kitchen and several seasonal specials such as Halloween Cookie Challenge, Last Bite Hotel, and Outrageous Pumpkins. The final episode of The Kitchen will air on December 13, 2025.
