This Remote Region in Spain Could Pay You Up to $16,000 to Move There

The government of Extremadura, Spain, is offering up to €15,000 to remote workers willing to relocate for at least two years to boost population.
"If successful, [Live in Ambroz] could literally change the country, its economy and its love-hate relationship with tourism...set an example for many other rural areas to copy." - Patricia Palacios.
Applications for the grants are likely to be available around mid-September, and interested parties must submit their applications electronically.
Successful female applicants, individuals under 30, and those moving to smaller towns eligible for €10,000, while other successful applicants receive €8,000.
