Etsy launches loyalty program comparable to Amazon Prime, offering free shipping and discounts. Monthly fee around $3 to $9. Testing begins in September.

Etsy aims to change consumer behavior to start shopping journeys on Etsy rather than for specific items. Recent layoffs due to sluggish sales amidst new competition from Amazon Handmade and Temu.
