Paris-based Comet, a platform connecting freelancers to businesses, secured €10M in funding from multiple investors, including Daphni and Otium Capital. This funding follows a previous raise of €4M in 2022, indicating strong investor confidence. Comet has also appointed Laurent Potel as its new CEO, succeeding Éric Didier. The company, founded in 2016, is known for its AI-powered talent matching technology and reported a turnover of €77M last year. With plans to expand significantly, Comet aims to capture more of the evolving freelancing market, projecting revenues of €200M in the future.
In a context of constant change and a growing shortage of certain specialised IT and tech profiles, the company has been able to demonstrate the relevance of its model.
The fundraising will allow us to significantly accelerate our growth and develop our offering in a very buoyant market context.
