Ogi has secured a £45m financing package, bolstered by ongoing investment from Infracapital, to enhance full-fibre connectivity and IT services in Wales.
Ogi's initiative utilizes a public-owned motorway and trunk road network, installing high-capacity fibre pairs to connect underserved areas and improve resilience across South Wales.
Each of Ogi's full-fibre communities is set to receive around £5m, with projected long-term economic benefits estimated at nearly £5 for every £1 invested.
The funding will enable Ogi to extend its services across 10 local authority areas and meet the growing demand for alternative telecom options in Wales.
