Kristina Bouweiri joined Reston Limousine, a small venture owned by her husband, and successfully expanded its market presence by targeting weddings, proms, and government contracts. Initially focusing on corporate clients, Kristina's efforts led to significant growth, pushing revenues from $200,000 to $5 million. Her perseverance, alongside personal challenges such as infertility, allowed her to build a robust business while balancing family responsibilities. Despite the challenges post-9/11, she continued to adapt and expand, solidifying her role as a leader in the limousine industry.
I never planned on being in the limousine industry... But when I returned to the US, the only job I could find was 100% commission sales.
I saw potential elsewhere. I pushed for proms, weddings, and eventually government contracts... We were doing 100 weddings every weekend.
In the '90s, we were in the right place at the right time. Revenue soared to $5 million... grew to 240 vehicles with contracts across the region.
After 9/11, everything changed for the limo industry, but we adapted and thrived by diversifying our client base.
