Disney+ account sharing crackdown starts today in the US
Briefly

Disney is introducing a Paid Sharing feature for Disney+ users, allowing account holders to add one Extra Member outside their household for an additional cost.
With the new Paid Sharing plan, Disney+ aims to balance user flexibility with revenue growth, as the plan proves more economical than separate subscriptions.
Although the Paid Sharing option is cheaper than a standalone Disney+ plan, it imposes restrictions, such as limiting each account to one Extra Member.
Current Disney+ subscribers in bundled plans or those billed through third-party partners will not have access to the Paid Sharing feature.
