Lowe's is scaling back its diversity, equity, and inclusion policies, joining other companies post-Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action.
The retailer decided to combine its resource groups into one organization and will end its participation in surveys that measure LGBTQ+ inclusion.
Changes were made to ensure policies are 'lawful' and aligned with its commitment to 'include everyone.' Further modifications may follow.
Robby Starbuck claimed credit for the changes but Lowe's stated the process had begun prior to his outreach.
