Flatpay provides card terminals and point-of-sale systems to small merchants at a flat transaction rate, focusing on the SMB segment that represents 99% of European businesses. The startup claims around 60,000 customers, up from 7,000 in April 2024, and reached a €1.5 billion valuation in three years. Flatpay crossed €100 million in annual recurring revenue in October, with ARR rising by nearly €1 million per day. The company raised €145 million in a round backed by AVP Growth, Smash Capital and Dawn Capital to fund growth across current markets and enter one or two new markets.
