Lennon Miller expressed immense pride in captaining Motherwell at just 18, stating, "To captain this club is what dreams are made of." He appreciates the journey from academy to first-team and aims to inspire through his performance rather than speeches.
Miller emphasized his humble approach, saying, "I'm not planning any big speech. We've obviously got great leaders in the changing room anyway, so nothing really changes for me. I'll try to do my talking with my feet."
Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell praised Miller's leadership abilities, noting he 'may not be the loudest voice...but his level of performance leads other players.' Kettlewell believes Miller inspires teammates even at a young age.
Reflecting on his journey, Miller stated, "The last time I was at Hampden, I was in the stand watching a League Cup final... to captain your team at Hampden is a massive thing for me."
