Lowrider Art Showcase in Saratoga | Metro Silicon Valley | Silicon Valley's Leading Weekly
Briefly

Lowrider culture originated in Los Angeles in the 1940s, when automotive enthusiasts began customizing their vehicles with unique wheels, hydraulic lifts, and vibrant accessories, transforming ordinary cars into symbols of personal expression and style.
The 2nd Annual Lowrider Art Showcase, organized by the United Lowrider Council of San Jose and Local Color SJ, celebrates this vibrant culture with a variety of family-friendly activities, including artmaking demonstrations, DJs, dancing, and local food vendors, embodying the spirit of community and creativity.
This showcase serves as a tribute to the lowrider community while coinciding with National Hispanic Heritage Month, highlighting the cultural significance of lowriders within the Hispanic and Latino communities across America.
