On March 6, detectives arrested Barrozo in San Jose and booked him into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on charges of unlawful sexual intercourse and oral copulation with a minor.
Officers identified Bernie Barrozo, 28, of San Jose, as a suspect in the case and learned he was an instructor at a martial arts studio.
An investigation also revealed Barrozo was a former behavioral therapist for children with autism in San Jose.
The incident was reported Jan. 17, San Jose police Officer Tanya Hernandez said in a news release Tuesday.
