An 82-year-old male motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle crash in Clarington, Ontario, after losing control of his motorcycle on an off-ramp.
The incident took place around 4 p.m. on the ramp from Highway 401 westbound to Highway 418 northbound, where the motorcyclist ended up in a grassy ditch.
Following the crash, the off-ramp was closed for approximately four hours while police investigated the scene, but it has since reopened.
Ontario Provincial Police are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with information about the incident to come forward and assist in their inquiries.
