49ers place Pearsall on NFI list; rookie out at least four weeks
Briefly

The 49ers placed rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall on the reserve/non-football injury list, sidelining him for the first four games of 2024 after he sustained a gunshot wound in an attempted robbery.
According to a statement from his mother, Erin Pearsall, the bullet passed through Ricky's body without hitting vital organs, allowing him to be discharged from the hospital within 24 hours.
The 49ers re-signed offensive tackle Brandon Parker to the 53-man roster to replace Pearsall as they adjust to the injury and seek depth in the offensive line.
Trent Williams, the team's star left tackle, is currently on the reserve/did not report list during a contract holdout, leaving Jaylon Moore slated to start in his absence.
