49ers induce Lions collapse to win NFC title
Briefly

A complete course reversal led to the 49ers knocking off the Lions 34-31 to advance to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas on Feb. 11 to take on the Kansas City Chiefs, creating a rematch of Super Bowl LIV.
Up 24-10, the Lions could've taken a three-score lead around midway through the third quarter. But instead of attempting a 46-yard field goal, Detroit went for it on fourth down and failed as Jared Goff threw an incomplete pass. San Francisco then turned a 14-point deficit into a 10-point lead through its next four offensive possessions.
