SAN LEANDRO A 23-year-old man was in custody after his arrest in connection with the fatal beating of a woman this week, authorities said.Police said officers responded to an apartment in the 2700 block of Marina Boulevard around 9:30 a.m.Sunday.While en route, officers learned that a woman had been assaulted and was not responsive.
