The bodies of Stephanie Menard, 73, and Daniel Menard, 79, were discovered beneath the home of their neighbor Michael Royce Sparks, leading to Sparks' arrest for murder.
Sheriff's Department spokesperson Mara Rodriguez confirmed the positive identification of the Menard couple, whose remains were discovered on August 29, amid growing concerns from residents.
Police have not disclosed a motive for the alleged murders committed by Sparks, who is charged with multiple homicides and held without bail.
The Menards' car was found abandoned within the nudist resort, raising alarms when family and friends reported them missing shortly after their disappearance.
