Man accused of vandalizing Bay Area college classroom, setting fire

Authorities arrested Jesse Aloysius Roach for allegedly setting a vegetation fire that damaged a classroom at the College of Marin Indian Valley campus, prompting a police response.
At approximately 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Novato firefighters received an alarm from Building 28, where they discovered a half-acre vegetation fire near the Organic Farm and Garden.
Law enforcement was dispatched following a distressing 911 call that included a person screaming, highlighting the severity of the situation at the campus.
Roach was taken into custody near the Indian Valley Fire Road, and upon arrest, he faced multiple charges including burglary, attempted vehicle theft, arson, and vandalism.
