San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins stated her office will decide on charges related to the shooting of 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, expected Wednesday.
Ricky Pearsall, the 23-year-old rookie, continues to recover from a bullet wound to his chest after being shot during a robbery attempt in Union Square.
Following the incident, the 49ers placed Pearsall on the reserve/non-football injury list, indicating he will miss a minimum of four games this season.
Mayor London Breed insisted that the shopping district was not understaffed during the shooting, claiming there were more officers in Union Square than in other city areas.
