A cyclist in Etobicoke died after being struck by a driver on August 24. The 26-year-old woman was riding west on Burnhamthorpe when hit by a 28-year-old man driving a Volkswagen Jetta.
Toronto Police reported that the accident occurred around 8:19 p.m. The cyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but sadly succumbed to those injuries on Saturday.
Authorities urge anyone with security or dash camera footage related to the incident on August 24 to reach out to investigators as the collision investigation continues.
