Hardcore band The Armed will open for US Senator Bernie Sanders during his speaking engagement titled "Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here with Bernie Sanders" in Warren, Michigan, on March 8th. Sanders, who is conducting a spoken-word tour to confront the issues stemming from oligarchy, shared his concerns about the motivations of billionaires like Donald Trump. Meanwhile, The Armed has recently released their album 'Perfect Saviors' and continue to push the boundaries of their music with a post-hardcore/noise rock style.
Sanders, 83, is in the midst of a spoken-word tour in an effort to "take on the oligarchy" following the re-election of Donald Trump.
"I think it is an appropriate time to ask the question that the media and most politicians don't seem to be asking: What do he and other multi-billionaires really want?"
As for The Armed, the Detroit collective released Perfect Saviors in 2023, an album that saw the group embracing a more post-hardcore/noise rock sound.
