Saelee-McCain, a 39-year-old mother of four, vanished in May 2024, leading to a homicide investigation nearly 10 months later. Her family had always feared for her safety, especially after she communicated intentions to leave her husband, who faced felony domestic violence charges. Her sisters reported odd behaviors from her husband and lack of communication from Saelee-McCain, heightening concerns. As the investigation unfolds with identified persons of interest, the family struggles with the reality of her situation, reaffirming their belief that something terrible happened to her.
When we initially first had a feeling that she was missing, I just knew right away in my heart something wasn't right, and I knew something bad had happened to her.
Once we had determined she was probably missing, as a family, we knew it wasn't her running off or her just not communicating with the family, we knew that something probably really bad has happened to her.
For me, it was the odd messages from her husband Tyler, telling them their sister was missing, which they did not know at the time.
We felt like that definitely rang the alarm bells for us.
