A woman named Tomasa Panjojleon, 29, was arrested for her involvement in an incident where she pulled the tail of a horse during a young boy's riding lesson, leading to his fall and injury. This occurred on Feb. 23 at Thornton Beach Recreation Area, resulting in felony child endangerment charges with a potential six-year prison sentence. The boy suffered bruises and an ankle injury but was fortunate to be wearing a helmet. Police later identified and arrested Panjojleon, while the barn manager confirmed that the involved horse was also hurt.
The Daly City Police stated, "Officers learned that, during a riding lesson, a juvenile rider fell from a horse after an unknown female subject approached the horse from behind and pulled its tail."
A family member expressed, "Thanks again for your prayers and support towards my cousin; this has been a really tough week for us. But we will keep fighting for justice!!!"
