SPQR - Fillmore - San Francisco - The Infatuation
Briefly

SPQR is a restaurant known for its ambitious culinary creations and impressive presentation. Each dish is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, akin to art pieces, and the seasonal pasta options offer a unique dining experience that stands out in San Francisco's food scene. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and creativity of the menu are seen as well worth the investment. Notable favorites include corn ravioli and smoked fettuccine uni carbonara, making it a destination for those looking to indulge in extraordinary dining.
To quote ourselves (who better?), "Good lord." At SPQR, every dish feels like a miniature Jackson Pollock, sweated over for months.
The prices are what a more euphemistic observer might call 'commensurate with quality.' We would say they're pretty high.
But is it worth it? For sure. The vibe is a little east-coast cramped, but buzzing, and SPQR is one of the few places in town that makes a run at the pasta crown.
If the smoked fettuccine uni carbonara is on the menu, you must order it.
