Get Ready for Tapas and Crusty Sandwiches Coming to the Mission District

Dario Barbone, the sandwich maven behind San Francisco delis Alimentari Aurora and Aurora Centro, is moving Aurora Centro from its current home in Salesforce Park to 302 Valencia Street in the Mission District, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Barbone told the Chron his business didn't have the easiest time in Salesforce Park. "I really need a neighborhood," he said. "There's a lot of people that live, work and shop in Valencia. I am hopeful."
The restaurant will still serve Barbone's popular sandwiches, but it'll have a "tapas bistro" feel, with space for 50 in the dining, mezzanine, and lounge areas.
