BH Wood-Fired Grill in Walnut Creek abruptly closes less than one year after reopening
Briefly

BH Wood-Fired Grill in Walnut Creek has announced its permanent closure seven months after reopening. Originally named Bounty Hunter Walnut Creek, it struggled to gain momentum after opening just before the pandemic. Following its rebranding last December, it focused on a new menu centered around wood-fired grill dishes, steak, and seafood. The restaurant boasted a solid 4.8-star Google rating, reflecting positive customer experiences. The management emphasized a commitment to consistent quality over frequent menu changes, aiming for a reliable dining experience for patrons.
After much thought and reflection, we have made the difficult decision to close BH Wood-Fired Grill in Walnut Creek. We are incredibly grateful for the support, loyalty, and memories shared with us over the years.
We don't want to change the menu all the time. We want to change it seasonally. But we want it to be like, 'I'm craving beef carpaccio, so I want to come in, sit at the bar, get a glass of wine, and it's going to be the same thing every time.'
The new menu focused on steak and seafood and paired it with a robust Napa wine list and cocktail menu, and was met with positive reviews on Google, where the restaurant had a 4.8 star rating.
