Bar Asha, a new modern South Asian bar, has shifted its menu to include both vegan and meat options, addressing market saturation for vegan-only places.
Sanjay Chandrasekaran stated that the change in menu was influenced by the proliferation of vegan options at omnivore restaurants, making it difficult for solely vegan establishments.
Asha aims for a more intentional menu that changes with the seasons, contrasting the previous offerings at The Sudra, which were more extensive.
With its new menu, Bar Asha hopes to cater to a wider audience while still providing numerous health-conscious and vegan options alongside meat dishes.
