Where Are People Working Remotely?
Briefly

A report from CoWorking Mag revealed that in 2023, around 22.5 million Americans worked primarily from home, representing roughly 13.8% of the workforce.
The report showed that Austin, Texas, had the highest percentage of remote workers at around 25%, followed closely by Raleigh, NC, at 24.5%.
Research indicated that while larger metropolitan areas generally have more remote workers, midsize metros have seen the most significant gains in remote work percentages.
Over the past decade, the share of remote workers has tripled, with cities like Omaha seeing substantial growth from 2.9% in 2014 to 13.5% in 2023.
