Walmart is reportedly asking remote workers to return to the office, cutting jobs, and relocating other workers in smaller offices to bigger hubs, consolidating corporate staff to headquarters in Bentonville, Ark., and other locations.
Last year, Walmart closed three regional tech hubs, laid off hundreds of employees, and relocated them to work from the Sam's Club innovation center in downtown Dallas, emphasizing the necessity of being in the office most of the time for remote staff.
