In 2024, the increase has ceased to slow down regardless of the world opening back up. Still, scrolling down the Indeed pages there are a plethora of remote job options.
The perception of remote work is highly regarded as healthy, cost-effective, and overall positive, there are still a lot of benefits that an in-person job has to offer in a lot of fields.
This shift across various industries reflects a wider acceptance of remote work, magnified by a post-Covid world, the readiness of different sectors to modify their operational structures and the increasing openness of professionals to such transitions.
Even though 98% of workers prefer a work-from-home option, the option is going to become ordinary. By 2025 it is expected that 32.6 million Americans will work remotely.
