Job accommodations are shifting; 51% of respondents noted a significant demand for teleworking options. The findings suggest that employees are leaning towards less costly accommodations, indicating a transformation in workplace flexibility needs. Other requests include intermittent leave (46%) and specialized equipment (35%), showcasing a growing trend in how employees seek support from their employers.
When it comes to job accommodations, 51% of those surveyed said that a desire to work from home or via teleworking was among the top three requests they receive.
Our survey found that it's much more likely that an employee will request less costly accommodations related to when and where they work.
