Looking at the 80% of the global workforce that does not sit in front of a desk-they're driving our trucks and working in our stores and serving us at restaurants... there was no technology for them at all. From a first principles and founding values perspective, that's just wrong. And we need to solve that.
We looked at communications in the workplace and thought about the opportunity to really connect with every single person in all of the moments that matter to them and related that thinking to how marketers had been really successful running highly personalized digital campaigns.
There was this opportunity to really disrupt what had been done in corporate communications and really build a platform with their need in mind. We want to do what Marketo did for marketers for communications in companies.
