An AT&T spokesperson said the change aims to "drive collaboration and innovation" to better serve customers. A Resume Builder survey reports 2025 workplace splits: 28% five days, 13% four, 28% three, 11% fully remote. For 2026, 1 in 8 companies plan to increase required office days and 3 in 10 will prohibit remote work. Employers cite strengthening company culture (64%), improving productivity (62%), maximizing office space (45%), and encouraging departures (8%).
