An ambivert enjoys social interactions but requires alone time to recharge. Starting conversations can be challenging due to overthinking. To overcome this, a personal challenge was set to compliment a stranger daily, making connections and brightening someone's day. Complimenting serves as an icebreaker and leads to rewarding interactions, such as bonding over shared interests. This practice increases confidence and comfort in social settings, while genuine compliments can significantly impact people’s moods positively. It fosters a sense of presence and curiosity in engaging with others.

It's made me feel more confident, more present and more at ease talking to people.
