Restaurant plan for Vogue's former Mayfair headquarters revealed as office revelopment set for approval
Briefly

Nautilina Limited plans to redevelop a 1950s building into its global headquarters, proposing alterations including a new eighth floor and rooftop garden. The project aims to modernize the building while retaining a significant portion of its original structure. A new restaurant is included in the plan, promoting local economic benefits such as job creation and increased spending. Despite some potential harm to nearby listed buildings, the project intends to enhance the area with added amenities, modern infrastructure, and sustainability measures.
Building owners Nautilina Limited described the proposal as a "once in a generation opportunity" aiming to create state-of-the-art office space by redeveloping the iconic 1950s building.
The planning application indicates plans for a deep retrofit, retaining 62% of existing floor slabs and 92% of the building's frontages on Hanover Square and St George Street.
The proposed development will add 630 jobs and generate an estimated £1.9 million of local spending during the 18-month construction period.
Once operational, the facility is projected to provide an additional 700 jobs and contribute approximately £2.5 million annually through local worker spending.
