Academia Atlas, the new home for Atlas FC in Guadalajara, represents a significant integration of sports facilities and community-building. Designed by Sordo Madaleno, the campus features a training ground, clubhouse, and professional fields, focusing on underprivileged youth. The design utilizes a fluid, modular system with open-air spaces for flexibility and community interaction, while locally sourced materials reflect the region's culture. Spanning seven hectares, the project fosters engagement through shaded pathways and green areas, creating a vibrant, town-square-like environment that supports various activities for youth and sports talent development.
